Agoo Reviews

Transparency report

What happened to every review, report and legal notice, counted from our own records. The same rules for every business, and here is the proof: the figures for businesses that pay Agoo and those that don’t, side by side.

Mate Masie, what I hear, I keep

2026 so far, counted live on 23 October 2026.

A business may invite every customer, never only the happy ones. Here is how invited reviews compare with the ones people wrote unprompted.

Unusual activity and reviewers

Our checks look for patterns that suggest reviews aren't genuine. A check never removes a review: it holds it for a person, or asks a person to look. Only a person warns or restricts a reviewer, and every decision can be appealed.

Anyone signed in can add a business that isn't listed yet. Ordinary places open at once and a person checks each one; places that need care wait for a person.

Paying Agoo, and not

The same figures for businesses that pay Agoo for anything and businesses that don’t. Paying never changes a score, an order or what a page shows: the part of Agoo that orders search and works out scores can’t see who pays.

How we count

  • Every figure comes from the record our moderators and checks keep as they work, so it can’t drift from what happened. Nothing is estimated.
  • A year runs from 1 January to 31 December, Ghana time. This year’s figures are live; once a year ends its figures are frozen, and don’t change when old records are deleted under our privacy notice.
  • Times are medians: half the decisions took longer, half took less. Our targets are on Trust and safety.
  • A business counts as paying when it pays Agoo for anything (a plan or an add-on) when the figures are counted.
